Jackson Health System to Implement Compliance 360’s
Compliance and Risk Management Solution
One of South Florida’s Largest Health Systems chooses solution
to reduce manual processes, improve regulatory awareness, and provide
greater visibility to overall compliance status.
Atlanta, GA. – June 13, 2007 – Compliance 360, Inc.,
a provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) management software,
today announced that Jackson Health System, one of South Florida’s
most comprehensive healthcare providers, is currently implementing
Compliance 360 solutions to automate manual operational processes,
improve enterprise risk management capability, and more effectively
manage an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
After evaluating several Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) software
platforms, Jackson Health System selected Compliance 360 to manage
their regulatory assessment process, automate contract management,
conduct surveys, track incidents, and have a real-time view into
the organization’s “evidence of compliance”.
In addition, the Internal Audit and Compliance Departments are leveraging
the Compliance 360 Enterprise Risk Management module to standardize
their risk management process. The solution assists the organization
in prioritizing key risk areas, establishing and measuring against
an appropriate risk tolerance, and automating the testing of key
process controls. Executives are kept aware of the changing status
of the risk environment through automatic notifications sent to their
email accounts thus enabling a quicker response to risks that have
fallen outside of the established tolerance level.
Jackson Health System also needed a better way to manage the myriad
of state, federal, and industry requirements which present a demanding
challenge for this operationally complex organization. The Compliance
360 and LexisNexis integration package allows them to conduct regulatory
research and manage the relevant state and federal regulations within
the Compliance 360 repository. Utilizing the solution, Jackson will
be able stay abreast of newly proposed or enacted laws and regulations
applicable to their business and more effectively manage the impact
changing laws and regulations have on their compliance program.
