Anna Grizzle practices in the Bass Berry & Sims Healthcare Practice, where she works with a broad range of healthcare providers and companies on compliance, credentialing and risk management issues. Ms. Grizzle works with clients in developing and implementing compliance programs and frequently counsels clients on compliance-related matters. Ms. Grizzle works with clients in conducting internal investigations and frequently represents clients in Medicare audits and overpayment disputes. Ms. Grizzle also has extensive experience in advising clients on medical staff credentialing and peer review matters, including the drafting of medical staff bylaws, conducting of medical staff investigations and hearings and responding to records requests and subpoenas. Ms. Grizzle also is experienced in defending healthcare clients in medical malpractice actions and other formal litigation. In addition to her healthcare experience, Ms. Grizzle has represented clients in both state and federal courts in the areas of antitrust, business torts and corporate and securities.
