Since the days of leisure suits, pet rocks and double-digit interest rates, widely used quality assessment and accreditation processes in healthcare have remained virtually unchanged. With rising error rates and falling success rates in terms of measured outcomes, there is a compelling need for a transition to outcome-based quality assessment and accreditation techniques.
Join us for this free webinar that will examine how quality management techniques, widely proven in other industries, can be leveraged by healthcare providers to achieve outcome-based oversight and improve results by creating new standards of excellence from the skills, experience and ingenuity that already exist in your hospitals. The presentation will help you:
• Understand the rationale for the need for a new accreditation alternative
• Learn about a contemporary alternative to outdated hospital accreditation processes
• Understand the ease of transition to an alternative accreditation organization
• Learn how to apply outcome-oriented ISO 9001:2000 quality management system requirements
• Learn how to develop an quality system infrastructure to improve the performance of an organization at all levels
